- Pricing: Sadly many agents try to “buy” listings by telling them they can get more for their property than the market can bear, so when interviewing agents/brokers remember the one who gives you the highest estimated price may not be the best way to go. We make it a rule to be honest with our clients about pricing so that everyone is happy when the deal is done.
- Marketing: In the old days you could just stick something on the MLS and wait for multiple, over-ask, non-contingent offers. These days you have to come up with a cohesive and comprehensive marketing plan, and one of the most important components of that plan is accommodating showings. And having experienced agents deal with potential buyers. With one agent you will miss a lot when they’re busy, and buyers often don’t come back to places they couldn’t get into.
